Audient Horizon 32 + ASP880 Hybrid Studio Bundle – Console Preamps for the Flagship Hub

Horizon 32 keeps 32 channels of outboard permanently patched over eight DB25 connectors, but it has no microphone preamps of its own. The ASP880 adds eight Audient console mic pres in one rack space and feeds them into the Horizon over ADAT, so the same rack that mixes hybrid can also track a full band. Ordered together, priced as a set.

• Audient Horizon 32 – 50-in / 50-out Thunderbolt 3 interface, 32×32 analogue I/O across eight Tascam-pinout DB25 connectors, ESS converters at 32-bit / 192 kHz with 133 dB dynamic range, 0.99 ms round-trip latency, dedicated mix-bus path, dual ADAT and BNC word clock.
• Audient ASP880 – 1U eight-channel Class-A console mic preamp with variable input impedance, high-pass filter, polarity and –10 dB pad per channel, Burr-Brown AD conversion, eight insert points, two JFET D.I. inputs and ADAT, AES and S/PDIF outputs.

• Tracking without giving up a DB25 bank: the ASP880 arrives on the Horizon's ADAT input, so all 32 line channels stay wired to the outboard rack.
• Insert points before conversion: compressors and EQs sit between the ASP880 preamp and its converter, the way a console channel works.
