The Violet Hour marks the first full-length album from The Clientele, originally released in July 2003. Renowned for its shimmering blend of ’60s psychedelia, modern fuzz-pop and intimate jazz inflections, the record emerged from London’s Medina Road Studios in 2002 and has since grown into a cherished indie pop milestone. The 2025 reissue on Merge Records restores its presence in vinyl form with a pristine black vinyl pressing available in selected territories.
