You'll find dedicated buttons to control automation settings, as well as assignable soft keys for you to associate with your favorite DAW-based keyboard commands.

Speaking of DAWs, the UF8 offers HUI communication with Pro Tools (giving you Channel and Plug-In mode controls to speed up your workflow), as well as MCU communcation for Logic, Cubase, Studio One, and Ableton Live. Up to three different DAWs can be connected to the controller simultaneously.
