Below you will find the detailed process of how the contest will be held.

First, you must register here and select the time slot when you will arrive at our store in Vilnius to record your DJ mix. Yes, this means that you must physically come to our store to do that.

The registration process opens 2025 10 13 and ends 2025 10 26.

We will not be able to provide time slots for participants who did not register in advance.

When you arrive at our store, make sure to have your music with you!

The mix will be recorded live (we will record both video and audio). The recorded video will be featured on our Youtube channel in 1-2 days after the mix. By participating in this contest, you agree with these conditions.

Recording of DJ mixes will start 2025 10 27 and end 2025 11 27.

After recording the mix, each participant must provide us with a playlist of the mix by filling out a special form that we will ask to complete. You will be able to write a couple of sentences about the mix as well if you feel like you want to explain its concept and narrative.

The winners will be selected 2025 12 04.

We will announce the winners on our socials and we will contact them personally as well.

We are not limiting this contest to specific genres. Of course, many DJs mix electronic music, but this is not a necessary condition for participation in this contest.

What you choose to mix is up to you. We just ask you to find the time to come in and demonstrate your talent + skills.

This contest is planned to happen each year and we needed to think of one detail that would separate yearly contests, so we decided to go with this.

It’s a challenge, but it’s doable. We are not saying those 2025 tracks must be the key tracks of your DJ mix, but they will have to be in it. Hopefully it will allow us to see how the music mutates through the years (or doesn’t - but that’s also a very interesting thing to observe).

No, the contest is free entry.

You will get a 1,5 hour slot (1 hour 30 minutes) for EVERYTHING.

Your mix must be ±1 hour long.

The remaining 30 minutes is for you to calm down, manifest your affirmations or do whatever you do before starting to DJ, and then you will have the time to come back to Earth after your mix. We will also need some time to air out the DJ booth so the next participant can come in after you.

You must be at least 18 years old.

3 winners total will be selected and they will be announced on 2025 12 04.

1st prize winner will be selected by two well-known local DJs which we will announce later on our social media (during the time of the competition).

2nd prize winner will be selected by yours truly, team Soundium.

3rd prize winner - SPECIAL selection, will be revealed later on our social media (during the time of the competition).

Yes, you will be on video.

Your recorded mix (video and audio) will be featured on our Youtube, so you, us and everyone else will be able to see it.

What if the mix turns out to be crap? If after the mix you decide not to participate, let’s talk and we will find a solution.

Yes, sure, why not.

We can allow 2 people at the decks (just make sure to agree that you will split the prize into two parts).

More people will be only allowed at the booth as dancers!
