Modor NF-1 – Digital DSP Polysynth With Formant Filter

The Modor NF-1 is an 8-voice digital DSP synthesizer that mixes the playability of a virtual analog with sound engines you'll only find in software – additive, FM, feedback FM and more. A unique formant filter joins the classic 12dB multimode filter, opening up vocal and resonant textures that are rare in hardware. Available now at Soundium.

Key Features

  • 8-voice digital polyphony: Poly, mono and mono-legato modes for every patch.
  • 10 oscillator waveforms: SAW, SQU, TRI, SYNC, ADD, SONAR, WIND, ARC, FM and FBFM per voice.
  • Dual filter section: 12dB resonant multimode (LP/HP/BP/Notch) plus a formant filter with morphing vowels.
  • 7-slot modulation matrix: 19 sources, 86 destinations – plus 4 envelopes, 3 LFOs and S&H.
  • 1 Knob per Function: 42 knobs and 20 buttons keep menus to a minimum.
  • MPE-compatible: Full MIDI/USB implementation, microtonal support and 448 onboard patches.

Customer Benefits

The NF-1 delivers digital character with the immediacy of a hardware synth. Whether you need warm pads, complex digital textures, or the unmistakable sweep of a formant filter, every parameter is reachable on the front panel – no menus blocking your creative flow.
