Warm Audio WA-RA – All-Analog Re-Amping and Routing Hub

The WA-RA Reamper is Warm Audio's all-analog signal conversion hub for the studio, built to push dry DI tracks back out to amps and pedals and to record loud tube amps in near silence. Two independent signal paths, CineMag transformers and a built-in power soak make it a flexible routing centrepiece for guitar-driven production at Soundium.

Key Features

  • Independent preamp and re-amp paths: Reamp a dry DI track and capture a fresh DI in the same pass, with no repatching.
  • CineMag USA transformers: A custom transformer in each signal path keeps tone and impedance behaving like a real instrument feed.
  • Variable input impedance (120 kΩ to 1 MΩ): Dial in the right load for passive guitars, active pickups, pedals or line sources.
  • Switchable JFET / Op-Amp input stage: Choose a warmer JFET character or a cleaner Op-Amp gain structure per track.
  • Built-in 50 W power soak: Record a cranked 8 Ω tube amp silently, with no cabinet in the room.
  • Per-channel polarity and ground-lift switches: Kill hum, buzz and phase problems when tying rigs and the DAW together.

Customer Benefits

The WA-RA turns re-amping from a cable-juggling chore into a single hub on your desk. Send a clean DI back through your favourite amp or pedalboard, commit a tone, then change your mind tomorrow without re-tracking the performance. The power soak lets you chase real tube saturation at any hour, and the dual paths mean you can reamp and re-capture at once. It is a dependable, studio-grade tool backed by Soundium support.

What's in the Box

  • Warm Audio WA-RA Reamper
  • IEC mains power cable
  • User manual and documentation

Ideal For

Re-amping dry guitar and bass DIs, silent tube-amp recording, and routing line and instrument signals between your DAW, pedals and outboard.

Compatibility

Works with passive and active instruments, keyboards, pedals and line-level sources, and connects to amps, mixers and interfaces over balanced XLR or 6.35 mm jacks. The built-in power soak handles tube amps up to 50 W into 8 Ω.

Pros & Cons

✅ Pros:

  • Two independent paths reamp and re-capture in a single pass
  • Built-in 50 W power soak for silent tube-amp tracking
  • CineMag transformers and variable impedance preserve real instrument tone

⚠️ Cons:

  • 50 W soak ceiling, so it is not suited to high-wattage 100 W heads
  • More routing depth than a one-knob reamp box, so there is a short learning curve

From committing a reamped tone to tracking a screaming amp in a quiet room, the Warm Audio WA-RA brings analog re-amping and routing into one box. Find the WA-RA Reamper at Soundium.
