This microphone stand stays in position as it should; the microphone angle does not change on adjusting it. I used the in-desk mounting which was easy to install (with a 22mm speed drill bit), but the clamp also feels sturdy enough. Paired with an SM7B. depending on the microphone and angle you will need to possibly extend the mounting screw. Beware when you remove the paper holding it tight, without load the microphone stand will spring up.

Easily mounted to the table, has great reach distance and even heavy mics are held well by this boom arm.

- Cable management could have been made better

When product arrived, there was a missing detail. I wrote to the support, they answered and asked me to provide more details, so I did and after that there was no response and I had to find the missing detail myself.

Ideal mic boom arm, because it doesn't have installed internal cable. I use different microphones with different cables (USB and XLR). With my previous mic boom arm which had internalt XLR cable was very annoying to use USB-mic.
