Limited-edition paraphonic analogue synthesiser designed in collaboration with Ian “Swifty” Swift.
The Novation Bass Station II is an analog mono synth based on the original Bass Station from 1993. The analog signal path consists of two oscillators plus sub-oscillator, ring modulator, noise generator, a filter that works either with the acid filter of the original or a timeless sounding multimode filter and a VCA with Distortion. For modulation there are two ADSR envelopes and LFOs, filter FM and assignable handwheels.
128 memory locations for sounds, a step sequencer with four patterns and an arpeggiator round off the features. The limited Swifty Edition was created in collaboration with British graphic designer Ian "Swifty" Swift, who is responsible for the iconic visuals of labels such as Mo' Wax and Talkin' Loud as well as The Face magazine and many others. There are also 64 new patches from renowned artists such as techno icon Lego World, the alt-pop duo Pecq and the jazz/electronic fusion artist Maria Chiara Argirò.
A must-have for synth fans
