The Bullfrog is an analog learning synthesizer designed in collaboration with Richie Hawtin. It puts key modules like VCO, filter, envelopes, and delay into a desktop format that invites patching and experimentation. Created to spark curiosity, it’s equally inspiring for beginners and seasoned producers alike.

  • Fully analog architecture: Voltage-controlled oscillator with sine-shark-fin and pulse waveforms, plus PWM and accurate tuning across 8 octaves
  • Noise generator & mixer: Zener-diode source blended via mixer with external input option
  • Resonant low-pass filter: Classic analog VCF for rich tone shaping
  • VCA with delay: Offset-capable amplifier paired with built-in delay effect including time and feedback control
  • Two looping envelope generators: Attack-Sustain-Release envelopes with looping capability
  • Sample & Hold: Internal S&H circuit clocked independently, with manual gate input
  • Patchable learning format: Use Eurorack cables for patching modules manually, or insert voice cards for internal connections and expanded features
  • Voice card slot: Load sequencers, samplers/loopers, acid basslines, and more via plug-in cards
